Oliver Escobar is Senior Lecturer in Public Policy at the University of Edinburgh, Academic Lead on Democratic Innovation at the Edinburgh Futures Institute, and former co-director of What Works Scotland. He co-edited the new Handbook of Democratic Innovation and Governance.
